The Secretary General of FFIRI has denied any contact by his federation with the current coach of Bosnia & Herzegovina , Safet Susic.

In an earlier interview with a local website , Susic has claimed that he was contacted by two executives from Iran’s football federation offering him the job of Team Melli head coach. Susic , whose contract has been renewed with the BiH federation on Wednesday, has apparently turned down Iran’s job.

“I defy Susic to name those two executives he claimed that contacted him. We are currently negotiating with Queiroz  who remains our priority for the job of Team Melli head coach and we have another meeting with him on July 15th. I don’t know about anyone in FFIRI contacting Susic. Those supposedly two executives could have been agents or brokers working on their own, but nothing to do with us.”
