Team Melli’s Portuguese head coach was honored in a ceremony held in Lisbon, Portugal.

The Faculty of Human Kinetics (FMH), of University of Lisbon today honored various sport personalities who contributed to the history and development of the institution.

At the ceremony celebrating 75 years of the institution, the president of the FMH, João Alves Diniz, thanked the support given by all actors and sports-related entities, who built the school in the past.

The president of Portugal`s Olympic Committee , José Manuel Constantino, highlighted the work of the honorees and put physical education at the same level of other materials.

In this ceremony several sport figures were honored. In addition to Iran’s coach Carlos Queiroz, another coach who was involved with Iran Eduardo Manuel Vingada was also on the honors list.

Jose Mourinho , who has previously received an Honorary Doctorate from University of Lisbon was one of the speakers at the ceremony. The Chelsea Football Club manager was sacked by owner Roman Abramovic soon after the event.
