Mohammad Amin Asadi, a member of the squad of Iran’s Olympic Team currently participating in the Asian Games 2018 in Jakarta, has been ejected from the squad and flown to Tehran on first available flight.

According to ISNA news agency, the said player has been warned several times by Hamid Estili and Zlatko Kranjcar about disciplinary issues. The team managers , eventually decided to send him back home.

Ironically , there is no accountability or culpability against the leaders including  Hamid Estili and Zlatko Kranjcar for throwing the game against Myanmar in a disgraceful act of unsportsmanship totally against the principles of sport and the Olympic values.

Mohammad Amin Asadi  as a player, is a soft target while the big fish escapes accountability.

Iran qualified to the next round of the Asian Games 2018 men football competition with 1 win, 1 draw and 1 loss and headed the group based on goal difference. All the other teams in the group were equal on 4 points.
