Moghanlou started his professional career with Paykan making his professional debut for Paykan against Gostaresh Foulad on 4 February 2015.
On 23 September 2020, Moghanlou signed a three-year contract with Portuguese Primeira Liga side Santa Clara. During that period, he was loaned to Persepolis back in Iran.
On 7th March 2021, Moghanlou turned that loan into a transfer and signed a contract with Persepolis.
In 2022 he moved to Sepahan.
