Dragan Skočić (born 3 September 1968) the Croatian football manager and former professional player replaced Marc Wilmots as Team Melli head coach
Skočić was born in Rijeka, SFR Yugoslavia and played professionally for hometown club Rijeka, Las Palmas, Compostela, Rijeka, Novalja, and Ittihad Kalba
Skočić managed several clubs home and abroad starting with Rijeka. in the 2013/14 season, he first set foot in Iran to manage Malavan Anzali, next season he moved to Foolad Khuzestan. In 2018 he managed Khooneh-be-Khooneh then in the 2019/20 season he was recruited by Sanat Naft.
On 6 February 2020, Skočić was named the head coach of the Iran national team.
Skočić's first matches would have been against Hong Kong in Azadi stadium followed by an away trip to Cambodia as part of the FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifiers, however, due to the COVID-19 endemic, those matches were postponed.
