Twin brother of Team Melli defender Milad Mohammadi. Born in Tehran with parents originating from Kashmarz, Qazvin Province, hence his last name.
Started professional football in 2014 with Rah Ahan then played for Sepahan where he made 83 appearances and scored 24 goals.
Mohammadi moved to Portugal in 2019 and played for Aves for one season before returning east to Qatar signing for Al-Arabi in 2020 and then Al-Sailiya in 2022. At the beginning of season 2023/24 Mohammadi signed for Esteghla.
