Abbas Tanidehgar one of the pioneers of Iran's football.

Bornib Tehran in 1910, Tanidehgar was part of a group which formed the first official football team in Tehran under the name of Koohestani in 1937.

His physique, big built and tough character , made him, a feared and formidable defender. He was nicknamed "Abbas Siah" meaning "Black Abbas".
