Nazim Ginjapour was born in Ahvaz.
He is one of many Khuzestani players who shot to fame playing in Tehran.
After playing his early years football in his hometown , he joined the famous Shahin Club of Tehran in 1964.
In June 1967 he scored a hat trick against Tehran Javan in a match which was the last official match played by Shahin. Later on the club was disbanded by the order of the authorities.

Ginjapour scored a goal in his debut and the only appearance for Team Melli.
