Born in 1938 in Tehran. Noamooz played for Tehran Javan, Daraei and Pas Tehran teams.

Noamooz shot to fame as the Head of Iran football federation in two terms. Under his reign, Iran qualified for the Moscow Olympics in 1980 (which Iran subsequently boycotted) and in 1990 won the Asian Games Gold Medal.
