The classy defender who played for Taj Club joining them from Rah Ahan. Nicknamed Barbed Wire. Kargarjam grew up close to Taj club and joined them as a youth player. He suffered a serious injury playing and broke his ankle in a game that injury caused him to stop playing football for a full three years. After returning to the sport, he joined Rah Ahan club, where he developed his skills and was a target of many clubs. Kargarjam rejoined in 1969. His progress in Taj was eye-catching as two seasons later he was selected to Team Melli where he made his debut against South Korea. Kargarjam won the Asian Clubs Championship in 1970 and League title(Takht Jamshid) in 1974/75 season
