Nouri started his professional career with Foolad Khuzestan in Ahvaz. He showed early promise and was subsequently grabbed by Steel Azin. After his team faced financial problem and were relegated to the Azadegan League , Nouri was transferred to Esteghlal where he was not prominent and made a handful of appearances for the star studded club.
Nouri represented Iran at the U-23 level and played 10 matches scoring 5 goals in the process. He is currently playing with Saba Qom and has been a pivotal player. He was selected for Team Melli by Carlos Queiroz.
