Karim Ansarifard has represented the national team in every age level.
The player is a product of Saipa club youth system . In 2007 season , the club faced a situation after their star striker Mohsen Khalili left. The coach , Ali Daei gave Karim Ansarifard the opportunity and promoted him to the first team from the reserves and the young starlet answered the coach’s faith with good goalscoring form . In Season 2009/10 Ansarifard , despite his young age continued to shine and regularly score resulting to his first cap at the age of 19.
Karim Ansarifard scored on his debut coming out of the bench against Iceland. He was a member of Iran's Asian Cup 2011 squad and managed to scored a goal against North Korea in the group rounds.
In season 2011/12 , Ansarifard reached an important milestone in his career when he won the league's top scorer title at the age of 22 years.
After much speculations , Ansarifard joined Perspolis at the beginning of 2012/13 season
