Nicknamed Abdullah Shooti, for his ferocious shooting ability.
His fame as a powerful forward with great shooting ability was observed by the selectors of the first national Iranaina team to play at the international level.

Abdullah Saeedaei started playing football at the age of twelve in the back alleys of Tehran and together with some friends, they formed the Koohestan team, in Tehran, Saeedaei became the captain of the team.
At the time, several other teams were also formed in Tehran, including a team called "Tehran". The Tehran team did not continue and seized playing for a long time, and because of this, Abdullah Saeedaei and his teammates decided to change the name of their team from Kooheestan to Tehran.

Saeedaei was in the lineup against Afghanistan in a match recognized as the first official international match for the Iranian National Football Team.

That was his only appearance for Team Melli.

Saeedaei passed away in Tehran on 26th January 1974
