One of the most prolific striker and an icon of football in Iran. Homayoun Behzadi famous partnership with Hoseein Kalani was a legend in Iran's football. Nicknamed "Sar Tala'ae" (Golden Head) for his powerful heading ability and his skill in winning air battles with defenders.
Started his career with Shahin Club which was at the time one of the biggest and most popular Iranian clubs under the guidance of Dr, Ekrami.
After the disbanding of Shahin he played for two clubs before ending up with Perspolis wher he made his name as striker. Behzadi remains as one of the most famous Iranian strikers of the sixties and seventies.
