Rezaei who started his career with Fajr Sepasi , has came into prominence while playing for Saba Battery when he helped his team climb the table with some brilliant performances.  He is a utility player who can operate on both wings and midfield. Has a good speed and dribbling ability.

Scored a crucial goal against Syria in WC2010 qualifiers to ensure Iran's qualification o the next round and added another goal against Kuwait to claim a brilliant start for his National Team career.
